1. Ensuring Continuity for a Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Leader

The Executives responsible for Facilities and Security Management of a key US supplier to the vaccines market requested support in implementing a program to ensure continuity of operations across its locations in the US and Europe. Additionally, they needed assistance addressing risks linked to Animal Rights activists targeting one of their key suppliers.
Support for the request to ensure continuity of operations was done by conducting a detailed, systematic review of the organization’s existing plans to identify areas that were not in compliance with the national standard for Disaster/Emergency Management and Business Continuity Programs and revise the plans as needed to bring them into compliance with the standard.
Support for the request to address risks linked to activists targeting one of its key suppliers was done by conducting a thorough investigation of the activist group’s methods and strategies for intimidating corporations doing business with the supplier, by collaborating with SMEs involved in tracking such activists, and by sharing the results with Top Management so they could make informed decisions about how to manage the crisis.

Results:
-
Successfully implemented plans to comply with national standards for Disaster/Emergency Management and Business Continuity Programs.
-
Conducted a thorough risk assessment, enabling collaboration with law enforcement agencies and the development of an effective legal strategy.
-
Ensured the protection and continued operation of their key supplier, safeguarding the vaccine supply chain.
